Morning Pointe of Frankfort Assisted Living and The Lantern Earn Deficiency-free Health Licensure Surveys

Both communities on the Morning Pointe of Frankfort, Kentucky, campus recently achieved deficiency-free health licensure surveys for 2025.

About the Surveys

Senior health care communities must undergo unannounced state inspections yearly. The health licensure survey addresses aspects of care including (but not limited to):

  • Medication management
  • Nutrition and meals
  • Resident Hygiene
  • Record keeping
  • Staffing
  • Resident and family feedback from in-person interviews
  • Compliance with building safety codes
  • Fire safety, including fires extinguishers, drills, and sprinkler system
  • Emergency and disaster plan

Morning Pointe of Frankfort Assisted Living and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence both underwent this survey and passed with no citations.

About the Campus

Located at 66 and 68 C. Michael Davenport Blvd., the Morning Pointe of Frankfort campus offers assisted living and memory care services with licensed, clinical or care staff available 24 hours a day. Meals are served with dietician oversight in a restaurant-style setting and with an emphasis on fresh, local produce. Residents enjoy a full life enrichment activity program, including regular outings, service projects, intergenerational programming and engaging community partnerships. Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are also available on-site.

Specialized memory care programs at The Lantern include Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach® to Care, the Best Friends™ Approach and Morning Pointe’s own Meaningful Day™ – a purposeful memory care program providing structure to help residents feel safe and secure.
