Morning Pointe of Lexington to Host Lunch & Learn on Fall Prevention

LEXINGTON, Ky. — December 29, 2025— Morning Pointe of Lexington Assisted Living and Memory Care will host a community Lunch & Learn, An Introduction to Fall Prevention, on Thursday, January 15, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The event is open to the public and will take place in the assisted living building on the Morning Pointe of Lexington campus.

The Lunch & Learn will provide an overview of common fall risks and balance concerns, along with an introduction to services that can help individuals maintain mobility and confidence. The discussion will explore how balance challenges can develop over time, and the role supportive therapies and interventions may play in improving stability and overall comfort.

The program will be led by Jason DeLong, founder of AgeWell Orthopedics, who will share insight into fall prevention strategies and resources designed to support independence as people age.

Guests will enjoy a complimentary lunch and beverages prepared by Morning Pointe’s award-winning chef and Food Service Director, Kevin Horner. While the presentation will be held in the assisted living building, the event is campus-wide and welcomes community members, caregivers, and professionals interested in learning more about fall prevention.
