Starting Fresh Together: A Community Open House for the New Year

Franklin, IN— January 20, 2026 — The beginning of a new year often invites people to pause, reflect, and consider what lies ahead. Morning Pointe Senior Living will mark that moment with its New Beginnings Open House on Thursday, January 22, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., welcoming neighbors, families, and community partners for an evening focused on renewal, connection, and shared purpose.

The open house is designed to introduce new team members, offer a message of renewal for the year ahead, and create meaningful connections with future residents and community partners. Guided tours will be available throughout the evening, giving guests an opportunity to experience the community and learn more about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

Interactive stations will invite guests to participate in reflective and creative activities, including writing a word or hope for the year on the New Beginnings Wall and creating a personal 2026 vision board. Attendees can also join an indoor scavenger hunt and enter a door prize drawing.

The evening will include a silent auction benefiting the Morning Pointe Foundation, which provides

scholarships for students pursuing nursing, physical therapy, and social work degrees, helping strengthen the future of care through education and community partnerships, including local institutions such as Ivy Tech Community College.

Refreshments will feature a coffee and hot chocolate bar, sparkling cider for a New Year’s toast, and a Little Debbie display honoring Morning Pointe’s Tennessee roots.

“A new year brings new beginnings,” the event invitation notes. “We invite the community to meet the people dedicated to making every day here feel like home.”

The New Beginnings Open House is open to the public and offers a welcoming way to begin the year by connecting with others and looking ahead together.
