Morning Pointe of Owensboro, Kentucky, the former Heritage Place which was recently acquired by regional company Morning Pointe Senior Living, has announced its leaders, including Karleigh Roby as its executive director.
Roby has been an associate at the assisted living community, located at 3362 Buckland Square, since February. Before stepping into operations leadership, she served in various roles under the previous owners – as admissions and marketing director, activities director and business office manager. She has a degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in business from Western Kentucky University and six years of additional senior care experience in skilled nursing.
“I enjoy how each resident makes an impact on my everyday life and that I can positively impact theirs too,” said Roby. “Morning Pointe is an amazing company. I have enjoyed their positive outlook, structure and support.”
Roby has lived in Owensboro for the last seven years. She and her husband, Jordan, have two children, Raiden and Rynnleigh.

Morning Pointe of Owensboro was previously Heritage Place and has been undergoing a $2.5 million renovation, which is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Even more important than the physical plant updates, Morning Pointe Senior Living is enhancing senior services at the community to offer a higher, comprehensive level of assisted living clinical care.
