Morning Pointe of Richmond Assisted Living Earns Deficiency-Free Health Licensure Survey

Richmond, KY. (December 23, 2025) — Morning Pointe of Richmond Assisted Living Residence has earned a Deficiency-Free Health Licensure Survey from the Kentucky Department for Public Health, an achievement that highlights the community’s commitment to safety, quality care, and operational excellence.

Senior health care communities across Kentucky undergo unannounced inspections each year. The health licensure survey reviews every aspect of resident care, including medication management, nutrition and hygiene practices, staffing levels and staff training, accurate record keeping, and resident and family feedback. Surveyors observe care firsthand and conduct on-site interviews to confirm that standards are consistently met.

“This is a tremendous accomplishment for our Richmond community,” said Cristy Winkler, Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Richmond. “Earning a deficiency-free survey reflects the dedication of our leadership and care teams, who work around the clock to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care in a safe, supportive environment.”

Located at 1400 Gibson Bay Dr, Richmond, KY 40475, Morning Pointe of Richmond offers assisted living services with 24/7 access to clinical or staff support. Residents enjoy dietitian-supported meals served in a restaurant-style dining room, along with a robust life enrichment program featuring outings, service projects, intergenerational activities, and meaningful community partnerships. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are also available on-site.

“This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the dedication and professionalism of our Richmond associates,” said Bebe Kennedy, Senior Vice President of Operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living. “These results reaffirm to families that quality and safety remain at the forefront of everything we do.”
