TULLAHOMA, Tenn.(August 14, 2025) – Morning Pointe of Tullahoma Assisted Living is beaming with pride as one of its most remarkable residents, Irma Troxler, age 102, made her big-screen debut in the newly released documentary Wartrace: A Living Soul. The film premiered on Saturday, August 9, to enthusiastic audiences, and Irma attended the special event in true Hollywood style.
Filmed over the past several months, the documentary showcases Irma’s extraordinary spirit, resilience, and gift for storytelling. She participated in multiple days of filming around the town of Wartrace and welcomed the film crew into her Morning Pointe home for in-depth interviews.
On premiere day, Irma arrived in a brand-new pantsuit and stepped into her stretch limousine — her first limo ride — looking every bit the starlet. She walked the red carpet, greeted fans, and enjoyed a night she says she will never forget. “It was such a wonderful experience,” Irma shared. “I loved the limo ride, the red carpet, and how kind Heidi was to me. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this film.”
“It was an absolute joy to be by Irma’s side as she stepped out of that limo and onto the red carpet,” said Tana Caldwell, executive director at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma. “Seeing her light up with excitement and watching the audience respond to her story was unforgettable. Moments like these remind us why we love what we do—caring for and celebrating people who have dedicated their time, talents, and hearts to their communities. This was our chance to give back to her in a way she’ll always remember.”
Wartrace: A Living Soul is produced by Nashville Production Studios and covers the town’s history from 1852 to the present. Its success has already prompted plans for future episodes.
Heidi Cataldo-Warren, owner of Nashville Production Studios, said, “Our screenings were a great success, selling out two of the three showings. Irma’s presence and incredible memory bring the history of Wartrace to life in a way no one else can. She transports audiences back in time, connecting them deeply to our town’s past. We can’t wait to feature her in future episodes.”
Morning Pointe of Tullahoma is honored every day to care for people who have dedicated their time, talents, and hearts to their community. Celebrating Irma’s moment in the spotlight is one way the team thanks residents in the present for their past efforts and contributions. It’s a reflection of the community’s deep respect for the incredible legacies of the people they serve.
