GREENEVILLE, Tenn. —April 14, 2026— Caregivers and families often find themselves navigating unfamiliar decisions when it comes to aging. A free upcoming event in Greeneville aims to make that path a little clearer.
Morning Pointe Foundation and Morning Pointe of Greeneville Assisted Living will host a Caregiver Café, “Navigating Aging in Greeneville,” on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, located at 201 S. Main St. The event will take place in the fellowship hall and is open to the public.
The Caregiver Café is designed as an educational and supportive gathering where attendees can connect with local professionals, ask questions, and learn more about resources available in the community. Whether someone is actively caring for a loved one or beginning to plan ahead, the evening offers practical guidance and meaningful support.
Panelists will include Sophie Martin, JD, associate attorney with Elder Care Law of Tennessee; Tracey Wilson, regional director with Alzheimer’s Tennessee; and a financial planning expert from Green Wealth.
Discussion topics will include legal planning, financial considerations during life transitions, understanding the difference between normal aging and dementia, and how families can best support a loved one experiencing cognitive changes.
Light refreshments, including coffee and desserts, will be served.
The event is hosted in partnership with the Morning Pointe Foundation, whose mission is to advance the care and strengthen the delivery of senior services for generations to come. Founded in 2014 by senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow, the nonprofit organization supports caregiver education programs and provides scholarships in nursing, culinary, social work, and therapy through school partners across the Southeast, including Tusculum University, helping enhance the quality of care while investing in the future workforce.
