The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton, Tennessee, has named Lones Green as its new executive director.
In this role, Green oversees daily operations at the Alzheimer’s and memory care community located at 960 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd. He works with a team of directors, nurses, nursing assistants and other support staff to provide quality resident care and family support.
Green most recently served as community relations director at the community. With a bachelor’s in psychology and minor in behavioral neuroscience from the University of Tennessee, he has worked as a case manager and as a director of cognitive programming for those with traumatic brain injuries. He has personal experience caring for his grandparents and for his father, who passed away from early-onset dementia.
“I am enjoying being a leader at our Lantern community,” said Green. “I am fortunate to be able to help those in need, and I am glad to know that I am working for the best. Green currently lives in his hometown of Knoxville with his wife, Chloe Bliton. When he’s not at work, he enjoys fishing and power lifting.
