Why I Work in Memory Care

For us at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Clinton, memory care is not an afterthought. It is what we do. For us, memory care is not a hallway, or a floor, or a just part of our community. It is our community.

Our friends receive the benefits of an assisted living community while remaining safe and cared for. Our programming is centered around our people making their own specific meaning in each day. We do so by learning their stories, interests, and families.

These folks are why I come to work excited every day and the reason I work so hard. I see my late father and grandparents in them every day, and it’s important to me they’re treated with the same dignity and respect family would. These people taught us much of what we know and made us who we are today.

What we do and how we do it is what makes me so passionate about the company I represent!
