With Morning Pointe Foundation’s 5th Annual Seniors Got Talent, Chattanooga coming up on July 29, the names of the 12 performers have been released.
The show will take place at 7 p.m. at the Silverdale Center Creekside Theater at 7236 Bonny Oaks Drive in Chattanooga. The theater is part of the Silverdale Baptist Academy campus, next to the sports fields.
The show is produced in partnership with Morning Pointe Senior Living, although only two of the acts feature Morning Pointe residents.

Participants range in age from 60-93. Only one act will take home the grand-prize of $1,000. Second place will receive $500, and the third-place winner will receive $250. Show attendees will also be able to vote for the People’s Choice Award winner for $1 per vote, with funds going to the Morning Pointe Foundation.

Tickets for the Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent show are $10. They are available at silverdaleba.org/arts. Seating is general admission, and the show almost sold out last year.
All proceeds from votes, ticket sales and sponsorships will go to the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to support nursing and other college scholarships. The Morning Pointe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living founded by senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow. It was created in 2014 to provide caregiver support programs, sponsor educational awareness events and fund scholarships to advance the care of seniors throughout the Southeast.

Gino D, radio personality with Hits 96 in Chattanooga, will serve as emcee for the show.
