The Morning Pointe Foundation and Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, Tennessee, recently announced a new scholarship partnership for nursing and social work students.

About the Scholarships

The Morning Pointe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living. The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides scholarship opportunities, forms community partnerships and supports caregiver education in its mission to advance the care of seniors throughout the Southeast. The Foundation has provided more than 146 scholarships since its founding in 2014.

“Partners like Motlow State Community College are critical to the success of the Morning Pointe Foundation as we strive to provide financial support for students pursuing careers related to senior care,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “We are so excited to be able to support their students.”

The Foundation is bestowing $1,000 per year for nursing scholarships and $1,000 per year for social work scholarships, each for two years. Motlow State Community College selects its scholarship recipients in each area. Students do not need to be employees of Morning Pointe Senior Living.

“The Motlow College Foundation is so honored to receive scholarships for students in nursing and social work from the Morning Pointe Foundation,” said J. Mark Hutchins with the Motlow Foundation. “With these generous gifts, students from across our region will benefit by the support and the relationship with Morning Pointe as they advance their education and career in these important fields.”
