The $2.5 million renovation at Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living is almost done, and the Kentucky community is welcoming more residents to the beautiful new space.
Morning Pointe of Owensboro is located at 3362 Buckland Square. Formerly Heritage Place, the building was acquired by regional senior living company Morning Pointe Senior Living in fall 2024. The company embarked on the renovation to expand clinical services at the community and update the physical environment to make it more modern and comfortable for residents.

Renovations are nearly complete, and the community has been welcoming new residents, including Leona Snowden. She shared, “I moved to Morning Pointe of Owensboro because it was close to home and my loved ones. My favorite part of the facility is the nurses – everyone is very nice. The food is great, and I enjoy playing bingo and Flippo. The remodel is nice and clean with freshly painted rooms with pretty carpet.”

Fellow resident Judith Kirk decided to move in permanently after a respite stay. “Renovated spaces and variety of service made the community very appealing,” she said. “The staff is very nice, supportive and helpful, and the residents are very friendly.”
The community has 66 assisted living apartments, and several of various floor plans are still available. For inquiries about the community, please call 270-689-0930, or stop by for a tour.
