LOUISVILLE, KY. – Samantha Fowler has been named the new executive director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Louisville. Fowler will oversee daily operations at the Alzheimer’s memory care campus located at 4701 South Hurstbourne Parkway. Morning Pointe Senior Living, a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based senior healthcare services company, owns and manages 36 Morning Pointe assisted living, personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care communities in five southeastern states. Morning Pointe was founded in 1997 by Tennessee healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow and is celebrating 25 years of service in 2022.

Fowler joins Morning Pointe having spent her entire adult life in the senior living industry. She began her journey as a business office manager, later making her way to a unit manager before graduating nursing school and becoming a Director of Nursing for 4 years. During her time in the industry, she has become a Licensed Practical Nurse and holds an endorsement from Bellarmine University in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Fowler is proud to be an active member of the Louisville Junior League and Advocacy Committee. Additionally, she is currently a student at Bellarmine University earning her Master’s in Health Science with a concentration in Health Promotion and Social Change. When Fowler is not at work or engaging in her community work or studies, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jermaine, and their two children.
