FRANKLIN, Tenn. (August 4, 2026) – Last year, the Franklin community applauded more than unforgettable performances. Together, supporters helped raise a record-breaking nearly $40,000 through the Morning Pointe Foundation’s Seniors Got Talent competition, providing scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers across Middle Tennessee.
Now, the stage is set to do it again.
The Morning Pointe Foundation is bringing Seniors Got Talent back to the Franklin area for its eighth annual competition, inviting adults ages 60 and older to showcase their talents while supporting a cause that extends far beyond the spotlight. Auditions will take place August 18-20, with finalists advancing to the live championship performance on October 6 at the Franklin Theatre.
Seniors Got Talent has become much more than a talent competition. The event celebrates the creativity, passion, and lifelong talents of older adults while raising funds that help prepare the next generation of nurses, therapists, social workers, culinary professionals, and other healthcare workers through scholarships provided by the Morning Pointe Foundation.
“Every year, Seniors Got Talent reminds us that some of life’s greatest performances come later in life,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “Watching our contestants share gifts they’ve developed over decades is inspiring, and knowing those performances also help students pursue careers caring for older adults makes the event even more meaningful. We can’t wait to welcome another incredible group of performers this year.”
Whether performing music, dance, comedy, magic, poetry, storytelling, or another unique talent, seniors from throughout Middle Tennessee are encouraged to audition. Contestants will compete for a chance to perform in the Franklin-area finals while vying for cash prizes of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.

There is no cost to audition, and adults ages 60 and older are encouraged to participate regardless of professional performance experience. Family members, friends, and community supporters are invited to attend the finals and cheer on contestants as they compete while supporting the Morning Pointe Foundation’s mission.
The Franklin-area Seniors Got Talent Finals will be held Tuesday, October 6, at the Franklin Theatre.
