For Susan Strange, finding the right memory care community for her husband Gary was a deeply personal journey. A Peaceful Setting with Thoughtful Details

“My husband is still adjusting,” Susan shared, “but he refers to Morning Pointe as ‘the mansion.’”

From Susan’s perspective, it’s not just the beautiful setting that stands out. “For me it has been the friendly staff, state-of-the-art facility, huge laundry room, spacious and easy to navigate common areas, and the ability for him to get sunshine in the courtyard,” she said.

Susan noted how important the dining experience and social opportunities have been in Gary’s transition. “One highlight is the food,” she said “It’s also nice that there are other men he can hang out with.”

Support for the Whole Family

She’s also been pleased with the team supporting Gary. “I have been impressed with the staff’s ability to communicate with the residents,” she explained. “Each one of them has something nice to say about my husband, which is so nice to hear and makes me proud to be his wife.”

“And,” Susan added with a laugh, “I love to be able to grab a juice or tea from the snack room—and a snack. Sometimes I’m there for hours visiting, and getting a snack and a refreshing drink or coffee is so much appreciated!”
