CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 8, 2025) – The Morning Pointe Foundation’s 10th Annual Golf Tournament is officially sold out, thanks to overwhelming support from sponsors and teams across the Chattanooga region. Set for Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Lookout Mountain Club in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, this milestone event promises a day of camaraderie, competition, and community impact—all benefiting scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing, therapy, social work, and culinary arts.
Originally delayed by heavy rains, the rescheduled tournament will now be played this fall with a full roster of 28 teams. Participants will enjoy a packed day of play beginning with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. On-course contests include hole-in-one, longest drive, closest-to-the-hole, and putting challenges, with prizes awarded during the awards luncheon at 1 p.m.

“This year’s sellout is a testament to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and players,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “Every dollar raised helps fund scholarships that ease the financial burden for students preparing for careers in healthcare and service fields. We are thrilled to celebrate our 10th year with such strong support.”
Greg A. Vital, Morning Pointe Co-Founder, added: “It’s inspiring to see Morning Pointe’s longtime partners come together year after year—supporting one another and, most importantly, the mission of the Foundation. It truly takes the work of many to make this impact possible, and we are grateful to everyone who helps keep this tradition strong.”

Local Impact
Scholarships funded through the tournament benefit students at partner schools across the region, including Chattanooga State Community College, TCAT Chattanooga, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cleveland State Community College, and Dalton State College.
