Creativity Doesn’t Retire: Seniors Share Their Passions at Morning Pointe Hobby Fair

DANVILLE, Ky. — January 13, 2026 — Morning Pointe of Danville Assisted Living will host the Morning Pointe Senior Hobby Fair on Saturday, January 31, at 2:00 p.m., inviting the public to celebrate creativity, curiosity, and lifelong passions among older adults.

The event brings together residents of Morning Pointe of Danville Assisted Living and seniors from the surrounding community, who will showcase hobbies and talents they enjoy—from art and music to woodworking, crafting, and more. Guests are encouraged to browse the displays, connect with participants, and vote for their favorite submissions.

The Senior Hobby Fair highlights the idea that creative expression continues to play an important role throughout life, offering meaningful opportunities for connection, storytelling, and purpose. By opening the event to the public, Morning Pointe aims to foster community engagement while celebrating the talents and individuality of older adults.

Prizes will be awarded to the most-voted submissions, adding an interactive element to the afternoon.

The Morning Pointe Senior Hobby Fair is free to attend and open to the public. The event will take place at Morning Pointe of Danville Assisted Living, located at 100 Birney Place.
