Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living, formerly Heritage Place, is nearing completion of its $2.5 million renovation project and is hiring to grow its associate team.

The renovation project at the community, located at 3362 Buckland Square, is expected to conclude by the end of January. It includes physical building updates designed to provide the infrastructure needed for clinical improvements, as well as to make the community more modern and comfortable for residents. Beyond that, the renovations include expanded clinical services approved by state regulators. They are bringing the community up to a comprehensive level of assisted living service with:

  • Coordination of on-site medical and therapy services
  • Regular nurse assessments to meet residents’ needs
  • Licensed nurses and certified staff administering medications
  • Trained professionals performing nursing and therapeutic tasks
  • Menus reviewed and approved by a dietician or nutritionist
  • Comprehensive policies for CPR and emergency training

“Thank you to everyone who has been patient with our dust while we have been undergoing the construction,” said Karleigh Roby, executive director. “We are already starting to enjoy the new opportunities that these renovations are providing, and we can’t wait to showcase them when the project is complete.”
